Colorado HB13-1065 Passes Senate

HB1065 passed the Colorado Senate this morning and is now moving to the Governor’s desk for signature.
This bill allows physicians and psychologists who are employed at military installations in Colorado and are in good standing and licensed or certified in another state to order and transport a patient for a mental health hold at a community provider. This exempts these “medical professionals” registration with Colorado’s Regulatory Agencies.

Andi Leopoldus worked with Cedar Springs Hospital in Colorado Springs, to bring this bill to Representative Amy Stephens (R-Monument) and Senator Nancy Todd (D-Aurora, who sponsored the bill.
